We invite you to join us on a field trip to Country Gardens Farm. Owners Mike and Judy work over 150 acres of rich and diverse family farmland to bring you fresh, natural products. They have a passion for teaching people to grow, cook, and preserve good food. Their vegetables are Certified Naturally Grown and produced to the highest standards. During our visit, we will tour the vegetable garden and learn about organic farming. Why we should eat organic, the importance of pollinators, healthy soil, identification of vegetables and flowers, taste some of the seasonal vegetables, and the children will receive a small plant transplant to take home (plants will vary depending on the crop of Broccoli, Cabbage, lettuce, or similar).
